A New Outdoor Gathering Place for Our Community

We are delighted to invite you to the Grand Opening of Broadside Terrace, the library’s newly transformed outdoor space, on Thursday, September 25, from 5:30 to 7:30pm.

This exciting renovation has transformed the library lawn into a vibrant and welcoming space designed to be a hub for community connection, relaxation, and enrichment. This accessible space features beautifully crafted stone walkways, comfortable seating areas, and lush landscaping making the Broadside Terrace a tranquil outdoor setting perfect for reading, socializing, and enjoying a wide range of library programs and events.

This project was made possible thanks to the generosity of Carol and Gary Schurman. Broadside Terrace represents our ongoing commitment to enhancing the library experience by creating spaces that bring people together—whether for small gatherings, educational programs, or simply enjoying a peaceful moment outdoors.
