Emerging Filmmakers Showcase: 'Wire'

The Lindsay Theater and Cultural Center's second Emerging Filmmakers Showcase of 2026 is the locally made crime thriller Wire on Thursday, Jan. 15, at 7 p.m. Wire was written and directed by University of Pittsburgh seniors Max Christopher and Nate Drew. This feature-length project follows a troubled loner who becomes obsessed with solving a mysterious woman’s murder. This event is free, though we recommend that all attendees RSVP via the sign-up form on The Lindsay's website. The screening will be immediately followed by a Q&A with Christopher, Drew, and stars Erik Smith and Gabby Hernandez.
