The Women in Film & Media Pittsburgh Showcase will take place at The Lindsay Theater and Cultural Center on Thursday, April 9, at 7 p.m. WIFM Pittsburgh is a local nonprofit that’s dedicated to improving the status and portrayal of women in film, video and other screen-based media. This event celebrates the many talented women in Pittsburgh’s film community with a special evening featuring screenings of 13 shorts from 11 local filmmakers. They will be immediately followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers in attendance. This event is free, and RSVPing in advance is recommended due to space limitations.
